Additional Bosch SB5006 Rapid Feed 6 Piece 3/8-Inch to 1-Inch Spade Drill Bit Assortment Information
|
Bosch RapidFeed spade bits cut 3X faster than standard spade bits thanks to the innovative RapidFeed tip. This tip is threaded like a wood screw and literally pulls the bit through the wood for fast cutting action. The pulling action of the RapidFeed tip means less pressure is required behind the bit making overhead applications easy on the arms. Aggressive cutting edges are specially designed with an increased angle to cut at the rapid speed the bit is being pulled through the wood resulting in a clean, fast cut.

What Customers Say About Bosch SB5006 Rapid Feed 6 Piece 3/8-Inch to 1-Inch Spade Drill Bit Assortment:

They are not true "self-feed" bits in the same sense that auger bits are, but they are still effective.Highly recommended. These are the best spade bits I have ever owned -- and I have used a lot of them.
Of course you get what you pay for and these are worth every penny to me. As an electrician these spades cut faster, self feed easier and finsh better than any other I have tried. If I may also add-they cannot take much contact with plaster or stone resulting in a very quick dull, you literally do not have to push on these bits resulting frankly in less injuries down the road. These bits are very impressive, they will drill through wood basically on their own-but expect a bit of a blowout on the other side of the board. I am not a wood worker so concerns on cosmetics are not too common.
